▨ RECIPES FROM THE OLIVE BRANCH

“Recipes from the Olive Branch” was a successful student assignment led by my typography professor Ladan Bahmani. The assignment was to create a 24 page cookbook researching and exploring our cultural heritage through our family recipes. The great challenge of this piece was compiling research and interviewing family members, pushing me to venture into the library to discover the cuisine of Sicily. A total of 11 collage illustrations were crafted using photoshop, as well as 3000+ words of content. Though this assignment proved pretty challenging, it made a great gift for my mother who I couldn't have crafted the book without.
